The first inspiration items I am going to show off are actually a recent couple of tea cup and saucers that I bought at an antique shop in Bavaria. They weren't deals per se, but I just really wanted them. The company that made them is Heinrich, H & Co. It was founded in 1896 in Selb, Germany. This tea cup below, along with the doily is over 100 years old.
The second tea cup is also beautiful in turquoise and gold, made by the same company, Heinrich. It was made in about the 1920-30's. Both tea cups were in my Italian Curio Cabinet that I posted about last Sunday. I'd also like to point out the linens above (I know, I should have ironed them). They are from the same antique shop and are Bavarian as well probably from the 50's. I just really love Bavarian decor and furniture. It's so colorful!
So now on to the turquoise and gold inspirations I found around the web! Here you can see the lovely wallpaper, mirror, and headboard all in my colors! I dream of having a headboard like this one day!
Everyone should know by now that I am obsessed with Louis XV inspired chairs.
And who can resist a painted bombe style dresser?
Check out these beautiful chippy painted and distressed mirror frames. I can think of so many projects for these.
And I would absolutely love a pair of these vases in my home! The more grandiose looking the better. Even though these are probably like thousands of $$$.
I can't talk about summer inspiration without showing off some turquoise and gold inspired fashion. I have been buying so much of this kind of jewelry lately.
Some great sandles that would go nice with this turqoise and gold dress, which looks very similar to the dress I wore for my bachelorette party.
And last but not least, this themed wedding cake. My wedding colors were burgundy and eggplant, but if I had to choose another combo, I'd definitely choose turquoise and gold.
It was really easy for me to find items I loved and I could have posted on and on, but no one likes to read super long posts so I keep it fairly short.
So what is your favorite turquoise and gold item mentioned above or do you have some items to share on your blog. Send a link in the comments, I'd love to check them out!
Also, Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans! My family is visiting me in Germany as we speak and we will be grilling and chilling today! Shoutout to Angie in PA ;)

DeleteTurquoise is definitely my color as well right now. And combined with light pink and deep hot pink--a real winner. I like touches of white or kraft to dress it down and gold to dress it up. Your teacups are gorgeous! it's never a bad thing to spend money on something of quality that you love. My Pinterest Board "Color combos that I love," has mostly turquoise items on it.
